The Services Of Leased Line Networking

The Services Of Leased Line Networking

Leased lines use a symmetric type point to point connection in order to render its services to its consumers. Combined leased lines can produce powerful and fast internet connections. This technology was designed to create Wide Area Networks (WAN). Once leased lines have successfully established this powerful network, several sites can be easily linked to each other. The process of communication between the united sites becomes more efficient. Leased Line Networking functions with the use of its unique networking topology called “hub and spoke”. Such network design is comparable to the structure of a bicycle wheel. A bicycle wheel has a rim and a hub. Both parts are being connected to each other with the use of spokes.

The spokes are being attached to the rim of a bicycle wheel with varied locations and positions. When all the spokes are already connected to the rim, the hub will be placed in the middle part of the structure. And all spokes will be attached to it. The rim serves as the offices connected to the leased lines which are the spokes. The spokes or the leased lines go directly to the central point of the network which was symbolised by the hub to distribute the services of the central point to its different offices. This is how Leased Line Networking works.

This topology explains how Leased Line Networking works in distributing traffic in two different locations. This network design will help to prevent problems that can interrupt the connections of leased lines. If ever a connection problem happens in the central office, this networking model will help leased lines to maintain their connection and telecommunication services in other links which are not affected. But this idea is still a plan, and until now it is not a part of the reality. It is because in reality, this networking service is very complicated and there are several things to consider in enhancing its good performance.

The real image of Leased Line Networking doesn’t have a central point. At the start of its service, it will not automatically show a single point as its central section. Several points are being combined in order to form a central point. This networking service started to become a very popular telecommunication service when the prices of leased lines decreased in value. It became more interesting in the eyes of businessmen/women when its prices were already affordable compared to its standard price before.

The discounted price of this Leased Line Networking setup brought a lot of opportunities for advanced improvements in several business establishments around the world. In order to avail the services of this networking technology, an interested consumer should look for a local provider of leased lines in order to get the most convenient arrangements for the service. In selecting a provider, a person should look for a company that offers services with 24/7 support. It is much better if the consumer chooses a provider that manifests good customer service and provides Service Level Agreements with each service to satisfy the demands of their customers.
