Dedicated Bandwidth – The Cheapest Option?

Whenever a particular office is in need of a dedicated bandwidth connection, one of the best places where they can purchase it is through major data centres. Since these major data centres are already located within the building, which makes it a cheap option that can be connected to any existing networks quickly and easily.

The roles that major data centres are playing are magnets for individual carriers. These are the ones that are considered as peering partners that can help in improving the business made by internet transit providers. Since the connections can be done within the location, business owners who want to connect are sure to spend less with getting connections.

Since the competitions between carriers and major data centres are high, the bandwidths are often offered at lower prices. There is a great demand when it comes to getting enough internet transit, which attracts more providers to the data centre. With these facts in mind, there is no doubt why there are many providers offering internet transit at affordable prices.

The entire process of using dedicated bandwidth is said to be cheaper than other connections since there are ISPs that are able to provide fixed amount of bandwidth to their clients. Most of the business owners who are looking for fixed bandwidth such as 1000Mbit/s since the cost for every Mbps will be lower than other connections. This is possible as a client is able to find an ISP that can aggregate the fixed bandwidth and provide the services that client’s needs.

Building is not the only focus of bandwidth providers. They make sure that they are well-connected with the process. These providers make sure that they are aware of how they can links their assets within the building and core network. Due to this idea, people are able to get the best economies of scale within these data centres and be able to reduce the costs of providing bandwidths to clients. A fixed bandwidth of 100Mb/s can be considered as a large amount of connection but for such providers this only gets 1% of the entire bandwidth.

There are certain ways on how providers are able to connect clients to several networks that can be found in the internet. They have to 2 choices, first is to peer with any providers, the process wherein they would swap traffics with each other or pay for any transit providers that will let them connect to various networks.

For providers, they would usually choose peering since it allows them to spend less than the other option. Aside from that, this is also the option that gives them a faster option. This is the best option for them since it will not require the use of a middle-man that can help in swapping traffics with other networks.

If you are interested with getting your own dedicated bandwidth from a reliable data centre, finding a list of providers from a reliable source is sure to be the best option you can find. In this way, you are assured that you are going to get the services of the right provider for your needs.
